When I committed my life to Jesus, He called me to serve. Serving is how we help meet the needs of others with our time, gifts, resources, and opportunities. In Genesis Chapter 12, God told Abram, “I will bless those who bless you.” This made me think about how blessed it is to be a blessing. This is where the name Blessed To Be A Blessing came from.
Purpose
People are in need every day. A question that I ask myself is this: “What has God given me so that I can work to meet the need and to serve others?” The purpose of our “Blessed To Be A Blessing” initiative is to be a blessing to people by providing them with items such as food, water, hygiene products, gifts, etc.
Details
We plan to give to as many people as possible for as long as God allows us to. God willing, we will work with people and communities to identify needs and work to meet them, in alignment with our purpose. Our vision is to start by serving right now, right where we are.
