For the past few years, Bigger Than Sports, SC (BTSSC) has partnered with the communities of Greenwood County (Ninety-Six) and Richland County for our BTSSC Thanksgiving Meal Drives. This year our BTSSC Thanksgiving Meal Drive looks a bit different. “BTSSC Food Ministry” has been on my heart and something that I have been seeking God for.
On 11/3/2022, Jeffery Hughes connected me with Mrs.Freida Counts. Mrs. Freida has a heart for serving the Lord and using her gift of cooking to serve others. BTSSC is partnering with Mrs.Freida as we collaborate and serve the Lord by serving the needs of others.
Purpose
People need food and water every day. A question that I ask myself is this, “What has God given me so that I can work to meet this need for people?” Our purpose is to feed the mind, bodies, and souls of people, through sharing the word of God and giving them food and something to drink.
Details
We simply want to go out and feed as many people as we can for as long as God allows us to do so. God willing, we will start by serving meals to people in need at designated locations throughout Columbia, SC.
