Bigger Than Sports, SC is partnering with BLVCK DIAMOND KICKZ for our 1st Faith Walk Shoe Drive along with our annual BTSSC Backpack Drive for the children in South Carolina.
On 5/12/2021 in our Servanthood Bible Study, I asked the question “What can we give more of?” This was in reference to Luke 6:38. That week, Chris Floyd and I were aligned in prayer with this question and the answer that God gave us was the “Faith Walk Shoe Drive” in Greenwood, SC. After this, I started to see: 2 Corinthians 5:7 everywhere, which says “For we walk by faith and not by sight.” The seed had been planted some time ago. Now, it’s time for us to share the fruit that came from the seed.
Purpose
We must use what God has blessed us with and serve the needs of others. The purpose of the shoe drive is to serve by donating new shoes, a backpack, & school supplies so that children are prepared to engage in learning when school begins. Goal
Our goal is to be able to donate one backpack with supplies & a pair of new shoes to 200 children in Greenwood County and Columbia, SC.
Details on Donating
The Shoe Dive and Backpack Drive will begin on May 24th and conclude on August 7th. For every $40 donation, a child will receive: one pair of shoes, one backpack, and school supplies.

Distributing Items
We distributed the shoes and backpacks on Sunday, July 18th in Ninety Six, SC, at Edgewood Community Center.
We will hold our second event on Saturday, August 14th, in Columbia, SC. Details are below:
