When I committed my life to Jesus, He called me to serve. Serving is how we help meet the needs of others with our time, gifts, and resources. 1 Peter 4:10 NKJV tells us, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Purpose
People are in need every day. A question that I ask myself is this, “What has God given me so that I can work to meet this need for people?” The purpose of our “Heart of Service Initiative” is the provide children, teens, and adults with care packages containing items that will help with daily hygiene and basic needs.
Details
We plan to provide care packages to as many people as possible for as long as God allows us to. God willing, we will start by serving in November. Here is a list of some items we will be donating: canned food items, non-perishable food items, hygiene products, toilet paper/paper towels, and laundry detergent.
