  • Details: The “I Am Meant To Be Symposium” will consist of a one-day seminar where students will be provided with insight from men and women, on topics of their choice, relative to the students’ development. These topics may be hands on training or presentations. The goal is for men to mentor young men and women to mentor young women. At the conclusion of the event, we will hold an inclusive closing session with all students and speakers. The speakers for the event will hold a panel discussion where they will be asked various questions that are relevant to the attendees. After the symposium, each attendee will be assigned to a mentor. The mentor will follow the child for at least one year and keep track of their grades and other life events that they are experiencing. *The symposium schedule can be found at the bottom of the page.
