Intro
Matthew 23:11 is the Scripture that God gave me when He put “ServantTees” in my heart.
In Matthew 23:11, we see the words “greatest” and “servant.” The Greek word for greatest is “meizōn.” In this context, it means larger, which is also where we get the word “mega” from. Servant (KJV – minister), which means one who executes (carries out, performs, completes) the plans of another, giving himself up wholly to another’s will. Jesus made it clear that being the greatest is about being a servant. The world tells us the complete opposite and promotes prideful people.
When I share my testimony of where God has brought me from, I make sure people understand my story and how I allowed my gifts to make me prideful. From that point, God got my attention by allowing me to experience three injuries where my athletic gifts were no longer on display, and these situations were the start of a long, humbling road for me.
All my injuries and surgeries were from 2008 to 2010. I went through a time from 2010 to 2017 doing what I deemed right, which was wrong! God gave me mercy along this journey! I went 7 years before I fully submitted. I thank God for allowing me time to repent and come to Jesus Christ.
For the past 8 years, my life has been committed to being a Holy Spirit-filled servant of Jesus Christ. He is our example of being a servant. God gets all the glory from my life, and His blessings have come and will continue to come through this.
As I strive to serve God, I use my time, gifts, resources, and opportunities to meet the needs of others without concern for accolades, titles, or having my name mentioned. At the end of my life, I desire for God to call me a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.
Purpose
The purpose of the ServantTees is to serve God and model the message of being a servant on clothing and in real life.
Mission
Our mission is to wear the clothing and display every item with the faith that like-minded servants of Jesus Christ will join us on the journey.
Vision
Our vision is to get clothing items into the hands of like-minded servants of Jesus Christ as we work together to glorify Jesus Christ as servants of the Most High God.
Clothing Items
We currently offer 5 different clothing items.
- The Servant Mind – Matthew 23:11 & Philippians 2:5 – middle logo – Hoodie features two encouraging verses; Matthew 23:11 teaches us about being a servant, and Philippians 2:5 teaches us about having the mind of Christ.
- The Faith – Hebrews 11:1 – middle logo – Hoodie features Faith (with the “t” being a cross) in the middle of a circle, with Hebrews 11:1 on the outside. Not only is faith on display on the hoodie, but I encourage you to humbly and boldly live out your faith in Jesus Christ in your daily life.
- The Hebrews 11:1 – Scripture – Hoodie features Hebrews 11:1 on the front so that people will see it. This will likely prompt people to ask you, “What does that verse say?” I encourage you to learn it and live by it.
- The Matthew 23:11 – Scripture – Hoodie features Matthew 23:11 on the front. Jesus spoke this verse to the multitudes and to His disciples. Be prepared for people to ask, “What does that verse say?” I encourage you to learn it and live by it.
- The Philippians 2:5 – Scripture – Hoodie features Philippians 2:5 on the front. This verse points to Jesus Christ as a bondservant. This was His mind. We are instructed to “let” the same mind be in us. If we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us and give up our will for God’s will, we will have “this” mind. Be prepared for people to ask, “What does that verse say?” I encourage you to learn it and live by it.
